Registration will start from June 1 under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana

Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana Subcommittee meeting

Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana was launched on 21st May 2020 through the Government of Chhattisgarh. The state government has so far transferred the amount of four installments to the farmers through this scheme, and at the same time. Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana fourth installment

Now paddy producing farmers will get Rs 5837 crore

Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana has been started through Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel ji. Chhattisgarh Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana Eligibility and Rules

  • Under the scheme, crops of paddy, maize, soybean, groundnut, sesame, tur, moong, urad, kulthi, ramtil, kodo, kutki and ragi in kharif season and sugarcane in rabi are included under the scheme.

  • Farmers who burn crop residue in the relevant season will not be eligible for benefits under the scheme.
  • Legal action will be taken against the farmers who have given wrong information about the declaration form or wrongly paid the amount as per the prevailing provisions of the Land Revenue Code.
  • The amount of input assistance will be determined annually by the cabinet committee for each crop.

Update of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana

Giving information about the increasing amount, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that the budget of the amount under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana has now been increased from Rs 5700 crore to Rs 5750 crore. Through this scheme, to benefit about 19 lakh farmers of Chhattisgarh, based on the quantity of sugarcane purchased by the cooperative factory in the crushing year 2019-20 for the sugarcane crop, the FRP amount is Rs 261 per quintal and the incentive and assistance amount is Rs 93.75. Per quintal i.e. maximum Rs 355 per quintal will be paid by the government.
